The Camden Yards Baseball Birds
The people of Baltimore love their sport, in particular, baseball. Fans flock to Oriole Park at Camden Yards to see the Baltimore Orioles. Camden Yards has been home to the Orioles since 1992. While you’re in Baltimore, checking out an Oriole’s game is a must-do.
Camden Yard is one of the only baseball parks that allows you to bring your own refreshments in paper bags. There are a few stipulations though. Your BYO refreshments need to fit into a 16” x 16” x 8” container. While you can’t bring your cooler with a few cold ones, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. You won’t want to miss out on some top-notch ballpark grub though.
Camden Yards has a smashing line-up of ballpark fare. Attman’s Deli, Boardwalk Fries, Pinch Dumplings, Pizza John’s, Pollock Johnny’s sausage and Stuggy’s gourmet hot dogs are among the favorites. You can wash it all down with a craft beer from one of Baltimore’s top ten brewing companies, Union Craft Brewing Company. Camden Yards is well-known for providing friendly service and an exciting atmosphere. Even if you’re not a baseball lover, be sure to check out an Orioles game while you’re in Baltimore.

Crab season is from April to November. Harvest time for the biggest and juiciest blue crabs is in the fall. Soft-shell crabs are available from earlier on in the season when they are shedding their old shell. The new exoskeleton is quite thin, almost like paper, thus creating the “soft-shell” crab. Seafood lovers can’t go past the award-winning Thames Street Oyster House for some of the best seafood in Fell’s Point.
